If your team is interested in possible early practices for CRM/LOFT, Ground Trainer, and IFR Event please contact the Chief Judge. Due to the weather forecast we are considering adding Friday afternoon slots.
While flying in the area, please reference the frequencies and practice area document which includes expanded guidance from the Tower Briefing. This can be found on the Events page for Navigation.
Prior to practice, it is STRONGLY encouraged to review the video describing the Redbird instrument panel. Also review the recently added document outlining what to expect at your practice session on the Events page for CRM/LOFT.
OSU Tower has requested that all practice landing heats be scheduled using the Appointment Calendar. Go to Events- Appointment Calendars to book a specific time and heat position. Do not book slots until 6PM the evening prior to each day. A Tower Briefing is required prior to flying. Please be courteous with your time in the pattern as other schools begin arriving. Scheduling must be coordinated between the host school and all schools practicing. If it gets too busy, consider practicing at another nearby airport. NIFA will begin staging and hot box procedures starting on May 5.
