Event signups open tomorrow (April 28th) at 9am on the Appointment Calendars page.
- Ground Trainer event entry limitations: The number of contestants allowed will be three (3) per school.
- American Airlines Safety Award will not be available this year.
- Event sign-up calendars will be made available on Friday April 28 at 9AM Central Time.
- Reminder: Deadline to submit aircraft information for Navigation event is Sunday April 23 at 11:59 PM Central Time. This allows us to create and post the heat sheet in a timely manner prior to the sign-up time for other events.
SAFECON is in 24 days and we are excited to see all of the schools come to such a historic site to compete!
EAA still has the small ask from the competing schools to provide specific information on who and what you will be competing with. The following information is needed from every competing school in order to fly at KOSH.
- Copies of all competing Pilot Certificates
- Competing Aircraft Registration Certificates
- Current Insurance for competing Aircraft

Secondly, the portal to submit information regarding NAV aircraft is up on the SAFECON website. The quicker we have this information the better we can organize the possible 90 aircraft taking off over the course of the day.

The pre-arrival briefing is now available below and on the E-Comm Desk page. Please remember that a copy of this briefing must be kept in each competition aircraft, and all contestants should be familiar with the contents prior to arrival at Oshkosh.
Reminder to check the website often as SAFECON approaches. Event details will be shared as soon as they are confirmed. For example, the Preflight Airplane has just been added. Also, the devices to be used for each simulator event are posted. CRM/LOFT will have some new event information posted in the next few days.
