We will conclude landings after Round 3, Heat 21.
We’re on hold for a bit as the wind is shifting around. Please stand by for more info.
Briefing for Short Field Landings at 800!
Judges brief at 715.
Stage Round 3, Heats 15-21 of Message Drop!
Clouds/scud are still a concern. Tie down your airplanes and go get lunch. We’ll meet again at 1300 to assess the situation and see if we can do any flying.
On hold for some scud in the area. Leave the planes staged for now. We’ll see if the clouds improve in the next hour or so.
As of now, we’re looking at a gap between two lines of weather, in which if capable we’ll try to conduct a flying event. If you’ve moved your airplanes to an outlying field for a hangar, you may want to start positioning a coach or advisor to retrieve them when the weather allows. As I indicated before the airplanes moved, if we conduct an event and the airplane is not present, the slot is forfeited. Please notify me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to retrieving your airplanes. Thanks!
Looking at the timing of the line of storms approaching from the west, we’re bumping the briefing back to 0900.
Briefing for Short Field Landings at 8am Thursday morning.
Please have your Message Drop crews and gear handy.
Judges brief at 730.
Thanks again for your patience today. Have a great evening!
Sorry folks, in order to provide adequate required rest with the Nav delays we experienced at the end, we will brief for Power Off Landings at 0900 on Wednesday.
Sorry for the delay.
